Alexa F. Eckembrecher, a Miami, Florida native, was born and raised in the city. In 2020, she graduated with honors from the University of Miami, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. Alongside her major, she also pursued minors in Public Health, Italian, and Motion Pictures. Currently, Alexa is a student pursuing dual degrees in J.D. (Juris Doctor) and M.P.H. (Master of Public Health) at the University of Miami School of Law and University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, respectively. She is expected to graduate in 2025.

During her leisure time, Alexa finds joy in spending quality time with her loved ones, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying a great film.

Alexa is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
