Lakshmi is a law clerk for the firm.

Lakshmi was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 2020, she graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University, cum laude, with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Human Rights. Later that year, she joined the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families as a Budget Policy Coordinator, where she helped secure over $39 million in public funding to combat the surge in anti-Asian violence and promote COVID-19 recovery for Asian Pacific Americans in New York.

In the fall of 2022, Lakshmi enrolled in the University of Miami School of Law, where she received the Soia Mentschikoff Scholarship. At Miami Law, Lakshmi is the Vice-President of the Asian Pacific American Students Association and an active member of the First-Generation Law Association, International Law Society, and South/West Asian and North African Law Students Association.

Lakshmi holds a sincere passion for uplifting indigent communities in need and is committed to serving her community as a part of Ayala’s commercial litigation and immigration team.
