Laina was born and raised in New York City. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies: Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government. She also received a certification in Advanced Leadership Studies from American University.

Prior to attending law school, Laina gained experience in both corporate and non-profit legal settings. She worked at Alston & Bird, a Chambers and Best Lawyers-ranked global law firm, and previously worked with Immigrant Justice Corps, a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to legal services for underserved immigrant communities.

Laina is currently in her second year at the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, she has worked with Enfinity Global, a renewable energy company, where she assisted with transactional matters, contract review, and internal legal operations in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Laina has always had a strong commitment to service and community engagement. She is currently serving as the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association at the University of Miami.

As a first-generation American, she is motivated by opportunities to help individuals and businesses navigate legal systems with clarity and confidence. She takes pride in providing thoughtful, detail-oriented legal support and is dedicated to helping clients protect and grow their interests.
