Alec Gutierrez was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Florida State University in April 2022 and a Master of Business Administration from Florida State University in August 2023.

Alec is currently a rising third-year law student at the University of Miami School of Law and is set to graduate in Spring 2027. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Volume 35 of the University of Miami Business Law Review and is a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board.

During the summer of 2025, Alec completed an internship at City National Bank of Florida, where he gained hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, and editing commercial contracts. In the fall of 2025, he completed an externship at DKS Capital Partners, where he drafted, revised, and standardized a variety of private equity agreements.

Alec is particularly interested in corporate law and business litigation and looks forward to gaining further experience in both fields.
