Jazling Morazan was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and is the daughter of Nicaraguan immigrants. She is a rising senior at Florida International University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, with a certificate in Pre-Law Studies and a minor in Business.

Jazling currently serves as the President of Empowering Women in Law at FIU, where she leads initiatives focused on mentorship, career preparation, and community building. This past year, she gained hands-on experience at a private business law firm, where she sharpened her skills in client intake and legal research.

Known for her proactive mindset, enthusiasm, and attention to detail, Jazling is passionate about pursuing a career in law to advocate for underserved communities and help expand access to legal knowledge and resources.

Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Jazling enjoys playing sports, improving her chess skills, and spending quality time with her family.
