Kristen Schlotzhauer is an Associate Attorney at Ayala Law, where she focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, including premises liability, insurance disputes, and property-related claims. With nearly a decade of experience litigating in Florida state courts, Kristen brings a disciplined, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach to every matter she handles.

Kristen has represented clients across all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial preparation. Her experience includes drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions; conducting legal research and memorandum drafting; and actively participating in hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. She has worked on a wide range of matters involving premises liability, first-party property disputes, construction litigation, professional liability claims, and collections.

Prior to joining Ayala Law, Kristen practiced at several well-respected Florida litigation firms, including Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford, Paez Law Group, Daniels Rodriguez Berkeley Daniels & Cruz, Chartwell Law, and Marin, Eljaiek, Lopez & Martinez. This diverse background has given her broad exposure to sophisticated litigation strategies and a strong command of procedural and substantive Florida law.

Kristen earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she received multiple academic honors, including the Law Merit Scholarship, the Dean’s Award, and the CALI Award. During law school, she was an active member of the Trial Team and served as a Research Assistant. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Miami, where she was deeply involved in student leadership and community engagement initiatives.

In addition to her legal practice, Kristen is a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate and is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to effectively serve a diverse client base.
