Ylegnareb “Yleg” M. Caridad, Esq. is an attorney focused on civil litigation, with experience representing clients in complex property insurance disputes. She brings a strategic, detail-oriented approach to case management, guiding matters from initial intake through resolution while prioritizing efficient dispute resolution and strong client advocacy.

Before joining Ayala Law, Ms. Caridad served as an attorney at a Miami-based law firm where she managed and litigated a substantial caseload of first-party property insurance claims. In that role, she handled all stages of litigation, including claim initiation, policy coverage analysis, review of estimates and mitigation documentation, recorded statements, examinations under oath, depositions, and court hearings. Her practice emphasizes early case evaluation, strategic negotiation, and practical litigation strategies designed to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Caridad serves as an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University College of Law, where she develops and teaches law school courses and works closely with the Academic Success and Bar Preparation departments to help prepare future attorneys.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Caridad worked extensively in litigation support and case management roles, including supervising paralegal teams and managing hundreds of active files in first-party property and personal injury matters. This background gives her a deep understanding of the operational and procedural aspects of litigation, allowing her to efficiently manage complex caseloads and advance cases strategically.

Ms. Caridad earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law, where she was named to the Dean’s List multiple times. She previously obtained her law degree from the University of Zulia in Venezuela. She is fluent in Spanish and regularly assists Spanish-speaking clients with legal and business matters.

She is admitted to practice law in Florida and is an active member of the Florida Bar.
