Deidrre Edwards is a Jamaican born and raised law student in her second year at the Florida International University College of Law. With a double major in Political Science and Africana Studies from the University of South Florida, Deidrre is a dedicated individual with a passion for real property and intellectual property law.
Within the FIU Law community, she holds key roles, such as being the Executive Training and Morale Editor of the FIU Law Review, a member of the moot court team, vice president of the Caribbean Student Bar Association, and fundraising chair for the Black Law Student Association. This showcases her leadership, advocacy skills, and commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive legal environment.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Deidrre finds joy in traveling and indulging in movies and TV shows.
