Cynthia Cabezas was born in Havana, Cuba, and moved to Miami, Florida, at the age of nine. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, with a minor in Anthropology, from the University of Florida in May 2023. Prior to attending the University of Florida, she graduated from the School for Advanced Studies in Miami-Dade County, where she simultaneously earned her Associate of Arts degree through Miami Dade College’s dual enrollment program.

Cynthia is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at the Florida International University College of Law and is expected to graduate in 2028. During law school, she has been selected as a member of the FIU Law Review. Her current legal interests include business litigation, although she remains eager to gain experience across a variety of practice areas.

Outside of the legal field, Cynthia enjoys exploring nature trails, trying new sushi restaurants, and watching television shows and movies.
