We are proud to announce that we have settled a dispute between our client, a small business, and a payment processor over the withholding of over $50,000 in payments.
Our client’s payment processor withheld their business income for an entire month, because they alleged (without evidence) suspicious activity in violation of their terms and conditions. As a result, our client hired us, and we sent the payment processor a demand for the immediate release of the funds.
Shortly after sending the demand letter, the payment processor’s legal department contacted us, and our team was able to negotiate the return of 100% of the funds.
As stated by attorney Orestes Garcia, “We are happy we were able to quickly settle this for our client. If we had had to file suit, it would have complicated things and deprived our client’s business of much-needed operating capital.”
