We’re proud to announce that we have obtained the dismissal of an action against our client for breach of contract and negligence.
The case involved a contract to store and transport certain HVAC equipment to where the equipment would be temporarily stored in our client’s warehouse.
Our client claimed that the shipper provided improper instructions regarding the shipping and handling of the property, which resulted in the alleged damages. Our client also challenged the claim of damages itself, alleging that they were far below what the plaintiff was claiming.
As stated by attorney Eduardo A. Maura, “We’re very happy that this case was dismissed. We made every effort to settle, but the plaintiff was unresponsive.
