Ayala is proud to announce that it has defeated a Motion for Preliminary Injunctive Relief against one of its clients. Injunctive Relief consists in requesting the Court not only monetary damages but asking for a party to be prevented from engaging in certain activities, in this case, the construction business.

The dispute stems from a failed partnership where Ayala’s client had to essentially, protect company funds to get subcontractors paid and prevent the other shareholder from spending money on personal projects or pleasures.

The lawsuit also includes a counterclaim by Ayala’s client for misuse of funds, breach of fiduciary duties, and other causes of action.

The case is now tentatively scheduled for a jury trial on June 2022.
