The lawsuit, filed in the US Southern District of Florida, accused the defendant bank of unlawfully withholding the client’s funds for over a year despite numerous withdrawal attempts.
The lawsuit encompassed claims for Recovery of Bank Deposits, Violation of Florida Statutes Section 655.059, and Declaratory Judgment.
