We’re proud to introduce The Future Counsel, our first Law Student Reception designed to connect motivated law students with practicing attorneys who are actively shaping the future of the legal profession in Florida.
Taking place on March 18, 2025, at 5:30 PM at Ayala Law’s Miami office, this reception goes beyond traditional networking. The Future Counsel is built around meaningful conversation, mentorship, and real insight into what it takes to build a successful and sustainable legal career.
Law students will have the opportunity to engage directly with Ayala Law’s partners — Eduardo Maura, Luis Quesada, andRyan Sawal — along with several of our attorneys and law clerks. The evening is intentionally structured to allow for one-on-one and small-group conversations, giving law students candid access to professionals who have navigated law school, clerkships, litigation, transactions, and firm life firsthand.
Law students currently represented at the reception include:
- Florida International University College of Law
- University of Miami School of Law
- St. Thomas University College of Law
Founded on the belief that the legal profession is strengthened through mentorship and early exposure, Ayala Law views this event as an investment in the next generation of attorneys.

Creating spaces where law students can have honest, one-on-one conversations with practicing attorneys is essential, not just for their growth, but for the future of our profession.”
