Ayala Files Lawsuit Against Tire Manufacturer Michelin, Alleging Tire Defects Caused Car Crash

By March 23, 2023No Comments

On March 22nd, 2023, Ayala filed a lawsuit against Michelin, the well-known tire manufacturer.

In the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that while driving on Florida’s Turnpike highway, the front-right tire suddenly blew out. As a result, the vehicle started to spin out of control. This caused the vehicle to collide head on into a concrete barricade, but it didn’t stop there. The vehicle spun once again, causing it to get hit on the passenger door.

The complaint stated, “As a result of a manufacturing defect, the tires had cuts or cracks in them, and would lose pressure every couple of days.” “[T]he tires’ rubber [then] degraded as a result of a manufacturing defect, which led to a rupture in the sidewall of the front-right tire.”
