Ayala is proud to announce that it has obtained a $215,000 settlement in a dispute between its client and the manufacturer of genetic sequencing equipment.
In the lawsuit, the plaintiff alleges that it paid over $300,000 for genetic sequencing equipment that was ultimately worthless. After a year and a half of hard fought litigation, Ayalaโs attorneys were able to obtain the settlement.
As stated by attorneyย Eduardo A. Maura,ย โWe are happy with the settlement. Though we were ready to try the case, anything can happen at trial. This way, our client gets the certainty of a substantial payment, even if not 100% of what he invested initially in this equipment.โ
