Ayala Settles Two-Year Long Probate Dispute Over Collection of Personal Property and Other Assets

By April 8, 2025No Comments

Ayala has settled a case involving a dispute over multiple assets, including many personal property items of the deceased.

The dispute involved a last-minute change by the decendent’s sister on the last will.

Ayalaโ€™s client challenged the validity of the last-minute will, alleging undue influence, among others.

The decedent’s estate involved multiple bank accounts, 401k plans, life insurance policies, and a collection of personal property like cars, guns, and others.

As stated by attorney Eduardo A. Maura,ย โ€œWe are very happy that this case has been settled. There are a lot of emotions involved in these cases. We are big believers in the settlement process. We are very thankful to mediator Lance Harke, Esq., who masterfully brokered a great deal in a very difficult case.โ€
