As stated by law360, “[a] Peruvian man who has epilepsy  sued the . . . [the defendants] . . . alleging their employees violated federal law by denying him medication, a disability badge and medical care while he was detained at Florida immigration facilities,” despite knowledge of his epileptic condition and proper disability designation by Krome Detention Center doctors.
